compact alter/re-make/recycle

Those powder and mirror compacts that were once a staple in women's purses seem to hold so much recycling potential! This swap is to take the case of a compact - new or vintage, and re-make it into something else.

I recently made one into a pocket picture frame by decorating the front and cutting a mat board insert for the inside that would frame a small picture. I could also see them as miniature purses, needle cases, bead minders...I bet you can think of a few things too! Maybe you just want to decorate the outside and let your partner decide what to stash inside!

This is a swappers choice - but if you want hearts, look through your partner's profile and fill the compact or add to your package some special goodies, just for them!You'll have 3 weeks to complete the project after partners are assigned.
