Description:

For this swap you will be making 6 inchies for 1 partner. Inchies are little 1 x 1 inch artistic squares. See flickr inchies for inspiration.

This is receiver's theme choice. Upon signing up you must list at least 5 geeky topics you'd like to receive inchies about. Once partners are assigned check what topics your partner chose and make them 6 inchies based on those topics. You can make one inchie for each topic or make a few on one topic and a few on another, but they must pertain to your partner's choices that they've posted in the comments here.

Make sure you pick geeky topics as this is a geeky group. You are free to interpret geeky however you wish though. (Example: A flower is not usually considered geeky.) You can list movies, characters, ideas, anything geeky you like.

Any medium is allowed but make sure to do more than just slapping a sticker or printed image on cardstock and calling it done- add embellishments or your own mini art or drawings, fabric etc. Send something you'd be really happy to receive.

I've given plenty of time after partners are assigned for you to be able to have enough time to make the inchies specifically based on your partners optimal wishes and desires! OH YEAH.

I like:
(1) Anything mathmatical (for example, the number or symbol for 'pi', or the symbol for infinity that looks like an 8 on its side, or complicated equations from an old maths text book)
(2) Anything to do with astronomy & stars, like constellations, galaxies, nebula etc.
(3) Darwin (e.g. little pic of him, quotes by him, the symbol like an ichthus with feet, etc)
(4) Anything to do with Physics - e.g. symbols, definitions of concepts, famous physicists like Einstein and Richard Feynmann.
(5) Those little green-and-gold silicon chip integrated circuit things... they are so pretty!
(6) If none of these inspire you, then I'd like inchies in just the colours red, black, white or silver, each with a single letter of the alphabet on them. Any letter will do, (I'm forming a collection!) - but it might be nice if they spelled out a (geeky) word?

1.) Studio Ghibli (especially Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro) 2.) Big Bang Theory 3.) Legos 4.) Star Wars, even the two Ewok movies (not the ugly cartoon series) 5.) Legend of Zelda (prefer ds versions) 6.) Hieronymous Bosch 7.) Leonard Cohen 8.) If you get stuck with the ideas listed above, a couple of them could be things my children like: Pokemon, Cardcaptors, Mario. My daughter 'steals' half of my Swap-bot stuff anyway. (Don't worry, she displays it respectfully in her room.)
