So it's back. I am sorry I was a bit emotional but am feeling much better now. And as promised, here this swap is. You will journal something not common. Think different, strange, unusual, creepy, stunning, ...if it would get 'looks' in a public swap then that's what we want. Sci fi, fantasy, horror, odd. Cartoony is okay but Adult Swim cartoony or anime cartoony, not Spongebob cartoony. Im allowing all of my beautiful group members to participate and hope that we acknowledge that we will try our best and so will our partners, but be understanding enough that we might not all be on the same level of talent and the beauty of that. 8x10 is the size each page should be. Knowing now that some members have already started on their pages, I'd like us to keep our requests to a minimum. As for myself, I will be placing mine in plastic sleeves and then keeping them in a little binder but I'm sure everyone will have a different way that they'd like to display them. Making requests is fine, but be understanding please. I swear this will NOT be re-scheduled or post poned again. On we go. You will make one page for an interest that begins with the letter A. One page beginning with a B. And one page beginning with a C. 8x10. Are we cool? Questions in advance is the best policy good people.

I would love to see some mother's pages for ideas. Is there a way we could do a floor pool or something to share?

You could look up journal page or art journal in flickr for inspiration. I'm sure no one has QUITE what we are going for here.

I was looking more for scans of others' pages to see how subversive this was going to get. I don't want to be too "tame" or too far out there. I have lots of new-to-me techniques I'm going to try, so I'm needing subject matter rather than style.

I think if you aim for the middle you'll be good. There's a flickr group for the group now, so after this first swap you will have a great example of some inspiration for round 2 and so on. :)

I'm in for now because I was before...but I'm not sure still if I can do this. If not, I'll drop before the signup. We'll have to see how I'm feeling by the end of the week, and how I think I'll be by mid-April.

I was going to join, but I am struggling to pick something I feel is strange/out there for all three letters that I feel confident I can do. But I will keep practicing for the next ones :D

(ones I had in mind for me to do but thought I'd share in case anyone wanted were Ankou for A, Bloody Mary for B, and hadn't picked one for C because the ones I thought of weren't strange and out there lol and were all {surprise surprise lol} Supernatural related haha)

And I will also look forward to seeing the uploads for this too, in the flickr group.

Got B and C done... not sure what to do yet for A. I love me B so much that I;m thinking on making another page to keep for myself. Will post photos in a few days, if I remember.

LOL I was de cluttering and I came across a heap of pregnancy and baby magazines and laughed out loud when I came across the breastfeeding and thought yes that would be an out there subject lmao, sorry don't think I am getting enough sleep
