Thrift Store Scavenger Hunt-USA

I would like to join but not sure I can find a book written in a forgeign language.I will look this weekend and see if I can before I join!

I would probably join too, except for the book in a foreign language...I love things like that and I've been going to my local thrift stores for years without finding such a thing.

I have only found two foreign language in all of my searches in thrift stores. What would be the penalty for not finding a foreign language book? Could we send something from our partners profile, a book that they would like? Don't want to risk my ratings :)lol

You might consider looking at used books stores for the foreign language book. Most of the ones I go to have a section for foreign language.

My favorite color is pink and I would prefer any candle holder for the home decor item. I am really looking forward to this exchange!!!

I'm surprised that it might be difficult to find a language book. Our local thrift stores have foreign language book sections! I guess I should consider myself lucky! Language picture dictionaries from the kids' section might also work well.

Prefer paper or another book (for collage) to note cards if at all possible and candle or candle holder for decorative item. :-) thx

P.S. best spot for foreign lang. books is a used book store or library book sale.

Regarding foreign language books...it's ok if the foreign language book isn't small (I'll make that exception). As others have stated, you can go to used bookstores and find a foreign language book. The book doesn't have to be vintage...as long as it was not purchased brand new is what we're looking for here. You can go to a college or university bookstore and purchase a used book from there as well. Maybe some of your friends or family might have foreign language book just sitting around the house collecting dust! Many options here.

Well, I guess they were there all along, the foreign language books. I just didn't see them!!! Found one yesterday. My color is blue.
