Let's put some imagination into a historiacal costume swap for our 18" dolls. The outfit can represent any time period up until the 1970's. Please include with your outfit, a note that explains which time period the outfit is from and why you chose it. Only has to be 2-3 sentences. It's senders choice so you can start on it any time. Let your creative juices flow!!! This will be a lot of fun. I hope you'll post your outfits on our group page. Oh, yes! Poodle skirts are from the 1950's. How cool. Reminds me of the movie "Grease". Now I'm going to have Olivia Newton-John's song "You're the One That I Want" in my head all day!!

Does anybody have any other links to historical outfits? For some reason I am having trouble downloading from the above link. :(

@Ztaimw - the link to the patterns still works. The file is in PDF format that is zipped. Do you have software to unzip it? The file is 16MB. Is that too big for your downloads? I can try to email it to you but if you can't unzip it, that won't help.
