Description:

This is the seventh in the series in which you create an ATC in the style of a famous artist. First we did Klimt, Warhol, Matisse, Picasso, O'Keeffe and Dali. This swap is for art inspired by Claude Monet.

Monet was a French artist who was best known as the founder of French Impressionist painting. He is especially noted for his plein-air style of painting (outside, which may not be very practical for ATCs!).

You will create one ATC for one partner in the style of Monet's Impressionist painting. Remember, you are not using one of his pieces of artwork, but are creating your own original art using the visible brush strokes, use of light and open composition of Impressionist painting. These are paintings that are best viewed from a distance, as they are not detailed with the subject matter. This ATC should be painted. You may use acrylics or oils, but traditional Impressionist art does not use the color black.

Standard ATC rules apply, and you must have a good rating of 4.9 or higher. No flakers or sticker slappers.

Future artists in this series may include Degas and others. If you have a favorite, I am open to your suggestions! I will keep this series going as long as there is interest.

"should" be painted, or "must" be painted?
