Hello, hello We’ve talked about this before, so here it is… the Ostara egg swap! :) Or let’s say the Ostara if-it’s-possible-egg-and-else-a-nice-decorated-container-thing-whatever swap. Filled as well. LOL So… Get yourself a cardboard / plastic / styrofoam / whatever material egg - which is box-like, but egg shaped. IF you can’t get anything like that, choose something else – a box of some sorts. The egg I’ll be using measures 19x12 cm – ish, so go for a size like that more or less. Another idea is to use a couple of smaller eggs. :) Decorate the egg, eggs, box, whatever on the outside – something spring-ish, Ostara-ish, witch-ish, whatever you like. And please fill it - stuff it with goodies for your swap partner. Examples: some incense, crystals, spells, herbs, a pendant, an oil, etc. Please write in the comments if there's something you can't receive (if you're allergic to something or really, really can't stand something). You can go totally into the Ostara theme – or not. Make it a nice witchy / pagan Ostara swap. You can also add something that you know your partner will like but that isn’t strictly pagan – we know each other some by now, so I think we have a pretty good idea of each other. And if you’re not sure… ask. Why am I getting ideas now about a bones filled Ostara egg? :D Suggestions? Comments? PM me. :) And yeah, sending on time would be cool here, because it would be equally cool to have the egg for Ostara. :D If you want to see an example of a decorated egg, here’s the swap I did last year – but that was just my idea and interpretation. :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/naurwen/5509525345/in/set-72157623044456129 |
