Description:

Greetings everyone!

For this swap, you will be making and sending 2 (two) handmade ATC's to 1 (one) partner.

This swap is a follow-up to the "Paint Chip ATC Blanks Swap" I hosted, but you do not need to have participated in that swap to join this swap. It is the first in a series of paint chip ATC swaps.

Paint chip cards are free, and available at most hardware stores, like Lowes, Ace, or Home Depot. Often you can find them at stores like Fred Meyer or Wal-Mart as well. Most paint chips are larger than ATC size, you will have to cut them down.

Your card MUST be ATC size: 2.5"x3.5". If it is not, it does not meet the size requirements to be an ATC. If you receive cards that are not the correct size, please rate a 3. Hint: Measure twice, cut once!

The name of the paint color or color code MUST be showing. Don't cut it off or cover it up! If it is on the back, please write the name/code on the front.

Card MUST be handmade and well done. To clarify:

-Hand-drawn or painted is great. -Digital art is great, as long as you created it. -No printed images, with the exception being your own digital art. -Collage papers and other ephemera are good, as long as some of the color on the card is still showing. -Stamped images are good as embellishments, but not as the main focal point. -No stickers at all. -Other embellishments are allowed, as long as they are light and relatively flat.

Your card MUST have a hand-drawn element of some kind. You don't have to be a professional artist. You can make a nice little doodle or a full-blown masterpiece; it's up to you! You can draw directly on the card, or glue the picture to it.

Test your markers, pens, glue and paint on scrap before starting. Some may not work on glossy paint chip cards.

Please have a 4.90 rating or higher. No recent 1's or 3's. Unrated swappers are allowed with well-filled profiles. This is a good chance to get some ratings! I reserve the right to ban seedy-looking characters at my discretion.

You will have until the 14th to sign up, and until the 29th to send.

Please message me with questions, as I don't look at the comments very often.

Thanks for reading, and have fun! B)

Should the image I draw on the card represent the chip color as it does in the swap image? Can I take some other chips than what I receive in the previous swap?

@RiittaR

What you draw on the card does not need to represent the chip color, though some people like the ones that do. It's up to you whether you want to do that or not. You do not have to use the chips you get in the previous swap. You can use any paint chip as long as it follows the guidelines. :) Hope that helps!
