Description:

Can you complete 101 goals for yourself in 1,001 days? The Day Zero Project thinks that you can. For many years, they've been challenging and motivating people to make a list of 101 things they would like to do in 1,001 days (which is almost 3 years). Things that will stretch themselves and help themselves grow however they'd like to.

The rules for 101 in 1,001 are simple - make a list of 101 goals to be completed in 1,001 days. Do your best to complete them. End up a little happier. The goals can be anything you'd like. Exercise 3 times a week. Travel Europe. Visit every state in the US. Write paper letters instead of e-mail. Whatever you want to accomplish in that time frame. You can start them at any time.

This swap is a continuation of my earlier swap, 101 Things to Do in 1001 Days - the list. This swap will be both for new people wanting to start their own 101 in 1,001 list as well as those who already have one ongoing.

If you participated in the earlier swap, or have a 101 in 1,001 list that you've been working on for awhile, you'll update your partners on how you're doing with your various list items. Let them know which items you're progressing on and which ones you've finished. If you're keeping a blog, a website or your list on The Day Zero Project, feel free to link to that as well. But you also need to give your partners a thumbnail sketch of how the month of January went for you.

If you haven't started a 101 in 1,001 list, this is your chance to send your partners your list as well as let them know how you're doing with your own list. Remember, you can start counting your 1,001 days at any time.

The sign-up time will end on February 15 and you'll have one month to complete the swap. This is to give the newly started a chance to work on completing some of their lists as well as giving those who have been working on their lists for awhile to write up what their month was like in terms of their 101 in 1,001 list.

For this swap, you'll have three partners. I'm not setting a minimum rating and this is newbie friendly. I'm hoping that no one will flake on the swap, but I'm willing to angel for anyone who has partners flake. Since it's one e-mail (and I'll be keeping track on my own blog, Amber's 101 in 1,001 ), it shouldn't be hard for me to angel. But I DO need anyone that gets flaked on to let me know. I can't angel (or find angels for you) if I don't know!

Good luck making your 101 things happen! I hope you all continue to take this journey.

This is so great I have the Day Zero Project on my Bucket List!!! Thanks so much for hosting this swap.

In the previous month's swap, some participants seemed to think, just posting a link to their list and the "progress updates" that are listed on their DayZero page is enough for this swap. Please clarify what's expected in this swap, so there are no disappointments.

Thanks, Swan. I will send an e-mail out to everyone participating so they have a better idea of what to send. Because I definitely DON'T want disappointments with this swap!
