Something old is new again swap #1

For this swap let's find something "old" and make something "new" and useful out of it.

What do I mean by that? Well-I recently finished making two aprons from a pair of pillow sham covers I found at my local GoodWill.I am presently working on a tote/shopping bag from a vintage pillowcover and new cloth napkins from a whole pile of cotton fabric someone had started making curtains with and then stopped and given to GoodWill.

You could crochet or knit some dishcloths or the like with yarn you found,sew something up with fabric from the remnant bin at your local fabric centre,etc.,etc. Whatever you like to do!

I only ask that A) you are reusing material-not buying it new and B) you make something useful with it. (Yes-pencil cups and trinket/storage boxes from cigar boxes count!) Try to think ecofriendly/green living. :D
