love stinks: homemade anti-valentines

it's that time of year again... valentine's day. even though I am in a happy loved filled relationship, this holiday still leaves me feeling all angsty and gloomy.

so let's make each other handmade anti-valentines. make your partner a card that is the very opposite of the traditional cutesy valentine. turn those red and pink hearts black. write a pessimistic poem or sarcastic saying inside, instead of a lovey-dovey roses are red poem. use cobwebs instead of lace. you get the idea.

the sender has a lot of freedom to make a card of any size, with any material they would like. but, please put some thought and artistic/crafty energy into your anti-valentine. the valentine is for your partner, so it should not be blank in any way.
