Once you have decided to join this swap, you need to post a comment below stating the sort of theme you would like for your journal. Make it something general like art, craft, swap bot, friendship, etc, something your partner can work with without knowing the full details of your life. Feel free to provide additional information such as what things you like to craft if you're looking for a crafting journal for example. For this swap you will be assigned one partner. You will make or buy a journal of at least A5 (5.8" x 8.3"). The covers of which must be edited to reflect your partners preferences which can be found in the comments section. If you are unsure on those preferences then please message them. You are allowed to include additional extras for inside the journal, but I suggest either placing them in the margins or else putting them on a seperate sheet of paper that the recipient can then place within the journal in the place most suited for it. If you do not wih for anything to be placed inside your journal please say so in your Comment however I cann't stress this enough, these docrations are just that. They are not entries. You will have the whole month of january to work on this swap, however, if you are able to devote the time to make a really nice journal in only a few days, I am sure your partner will be really happy to get it as soon as possible. ^_^ Just make it nice. A few stickers on one cover does not make for a very nice present. You mut actually put some effort into it. Make it something that you yourself would wish to recieve. I will angel thi swap if needed. If you flake you shall be removed from the group. Only those with ten fulfilled swaps may participate in this. Pictures of your journals are always loved, please feel free to post a link to them in the comments below after your partner has recieved it. I shall happily add them to the groups flickr account (Linking back to you on here and wherever you hosted the origional copy).

I have a couple different ideas for thems for mine.

First theme--I'd like one to have unlined pages on the inside, decorated on the covers for a doodle & drawing journal.

Second theme--I'd prefer to have the pages lined and decorated a bit around the edges, but mostly left undecorated so I can keep this one as a 'list keeper'.

I would like a decorated journal for everyday journaling. You can decorate some of the pages and maybe add a few positive quotes or sayings inside.

Another idea would be journal for making random lists. You can decorate around the edges of the pages.

I would like a unlined decorated journal for keeping things related to my theme of either ANGELS or FAIRIES. I love the one in the picture. You can decorate and add anything to the pages you feel like adding. Use little or No glitter please. Here are a few things I love that may help you - purples, flowers, crosses, stickers, ribbons.

I would like a journal decorated to be a fitness journal. Some encouraging words here & there in the book would be a bonus.

Or a general journal with prompts and decorations inside if you want to. For the cover choose something from my profile or what ever you feel like doing.

I'd like a craft related journal. The crafts I partake in are cross stitch, knitting and crochet. I would prefer that the contents of this journal are left unedited, however if you would like to include decorational items to go inside I would love to recieve them. Torn paper or neatly cut out are both welcome.

I would love a beautiful seasonal journal...something that could cover all 4 seasons. Please feel free to decorate the inside if you want as well, just leaving plenty of space for me to put things down. Thank you!

I've had to delay in assigning partners for one day due to some problems with some participants, nothing serious. There was a glitch that booted a couple of members out of the swap a short while ago, went to assign partners today and discovered those same names missing, just making sure that people don't miss out because of a glitch, but since the assigning is a day late, I've changed the deadline to a day later. Sorry, I was really looking forward to getting started today but...for fairness sake I delayed, hope you all understand. Will assign as soon as I get up tomorrow regardless.
