Misheard Lyrics

Full disclosure - I am stealing the idea for this swap from another site atcsforall.com - note you may have to be a member (free!) to see the thread.

I love Misheard Lyrics - mainly because it has become a huge joke with my mom and me, she never gets a song right.

Some examples:

~ "Hold me closer Tony Danza" - real lyric from Elton John "Hold me closer, tiny dancer"

~ "The girl with colitis walks by" - real lyric "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes"

~ "Scuse me while I kiss this guy" real Jimi Hendricks lyric "scuse me while I kiss the sky"

This last one inspired a series of books of misheard lyrics and a website kiss this guy

So are you up to a real challenge? Draw or paint your favorite misheard lyric. Please include the misheard lyric, the real lyric, the song title and the artist on the back of your ATC.

You will draw/paint one ATC for one partner. Crank up the radio or check out the website above for funny misheard lyrics.

Usual ATC rules apply - esp the have fun part. I am giving a short sign up time but plenty of time to come up with inspiration (ooh holiday songs are coming up too so even more crazy lyrics as sung by drunken relatives).
