Description:

As the title states, this is for a Matchbox Advent Calendar!

This requires 25 matchboxes (the 32 count), decorated (Christmas themed) and labeled with the day to open. Each matchbox will have an item in it for that day.

You can use normal matchboxes, handmade matchboxes, or the new envelope style matchbox.

Examples: Pins, beads, stickers, magnets, buttons, thread, charms, candies, jewelry etc.
(Don't mix things so that every day is the same, how boring!)
No more than 3 boxes should have the same things (example: no more than 3 boxes should have stickers).

If you put smaller items such a beads or stickers, put more than just one in the matchbox! They do not have to be stuffed, but please make this nice!

Gifts do not need to be profile specific so you can start getting ready ahead of time. Profile specific may help you to gain hearts though.

There are many examples on flickr to help you get started.

  • I REQUIRE 30 RATINGS TO JOIN THIS SWAP.
  • 4.9 Rating requirement
  • Email and postcards do not count. (I will check)
  • If you are picky, do not join this swap. You may get something you may not like and cannot rate down for it.
  • 1 partner
  • USA/Canada only

I reserve the right to ban at my choosing if I think you will flake.

  • Sending extra's is always optional but not required. It may just help you earn that heart! *(Disclamer: Swap participants should never demand that they receive a heart for their sent swap items. Hearts are only to be given at the discretion of each swap recipient. Cited )

Does it matter if they are all separate or in one big block?

Doesn't matter! I've received both. I personally love the one shaped like a tree since that's usually the one I make, although I have never received one.
