The first ugly PC swap was a huge success so I'm making another one which will be international because I did have requests for that. The goal is to send the most ugly, disgusting, boring pc you can find. This is to be naked (stamped with no envelope) to 2 partners this time. It is a quick swap and you can write whatever you want on the card, recipe, hello, how your day was. Just make sure to send the ugliest card you can so we can frighten mailmen all over the world! Whoo-Hoo! As always e-mail me with any questions. PS. These cannot be homemade they can be store-bought, hand me downs or vintage.

As an Aussie, I'm amused by the painting you chose to illustrate this theme. :) Unless it's a copy (only on mobile phone atm), that's one of the most famous pieces of Australian art: Ned Kelly by Sidney Nolan. Not quite msure how I feel abt it anymore myself, but I've never heard it discuss whether people think it's 'ugly' or not! :P

These swaps always make me laugh...one mans ugly is another mans pretty. I've sent out pc's I thought were hideous only to have the recipient ask me why I thought it was....beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder! I love these swaps :) It's good to be very openminded in this type of swap.

absolutely. I actually always have a hard time chosing a picture for this because I can't really seem to find something really ugly and just like you have said, one person's ugly is another's beauty. :)

Too true! One of the most beautiful PCs I've ever received was in an ugly PC swap. Luckily my partner thought that was funny. :)
