FABRIC COASTERS #1--FOOD

Throughout 2008, I will be hosting themed 6-INCH FABRIC SQUARES swaps. The FABRIC SQUARES swap will be coordinated to precede a same-themed FABRIC COASTERS swap one month later.

So, it's time now for our first FABRIC COASTERS Swap, with the theme of FOOD.

You will have ONE swap partner, and you will send your partner a set of 4 fabric coasters, with a minimum finished size of 3.75inches square or round. The theme for this first swap is FOOD. So any fabric that is food-related qualifies.

These can be very simple to make, or more elaborate if you wish. A bit of thin batting, flannel, or polar fleece in between the decorative outer fabric will make them very absorbent.

Think you don't need a lot of coasters? These make GREAT gifts! You can tuck them into swap packages for a little extra swap goodness, give them as hostess gifts, or start saving them up now for gift-giving next year to co-workers, teachers, hairstylists, that almost-forgotten-last-minute birthday gift, or for almost any reason!

These are so easy and quick to make, and you can use scraps to complete them. There are patterns all over the internet. Sp join in the fun of the first of these FABRIC COASTERS swaps, won't you?

As always, I allow high quality swappers only. Because of past swap hosting experience, I do not allow newbies in my swaps. I'm sorry. But this won't be the last FABRIC COASTERS swap I host. So if you are new, go, get experience, and watch for a later FABRIC COASTERS swap!

Due to the thickness of coasters, for now, I am going to make this US ONLY. I will open it up to international if there is enough interest. Message me if you are interested.

If I open it up to international and that would be a hindrance for whatever reason, message me privately (not through the comments section) and we'll work something out. But for now, it's US ONLY due to customs forms and such.
