My family lived in ABQ when I was 1-5, then Roswell for 1 year, El Paso for 2, then back to Roswell - so I consider Roswell my "home town" (even though I haven't lived there since 1987). Lots of visits to Albuquerque over the years for school events and shopping and etc.

Everything you sent, handmade card, tags, beautiful card stock halves in FANTASTIC COLORS, the handmade items in fabric, and 2 coloring pages are things I can use as I move along. You also sent a lovely note. I always write a handwritten note when I send out my swaps. I think it makes each swapper feel I care. It was GREAT to receive a package from Albuquerque. I moved to Colorado Springs in February of 2021. I came up to be closer to family as I have many illnesses and they are definitely been a challenge. Just Now, in one week or so, I’m having a Total Knee Replacement. It will be a year to make the total circle around to a knee that will not hurt again. I lived in Albuquerque for more than 40 years. It was the first place that felt like home and I always share that Albuquerque is my home. I hope we have further opportunities to swap with one another.
