I've always been a doodler and am just not, at the age of 28, trying to organize my drawings enough to really try to make it in the art world.

In my classes I learned to appreciate the level of work that goes into oil paintings, and to realize that it's not my preferred medium! Oils can give so much depth, layers of colors... but it's like, you paint one color on, wait a week for it to dry, give it another layer, wait a week for it to dry. I completely lose the rhythm of the piece, it just doesn't FLOW when I can't do it all at once. I like expressionistic, quick, scribbly, doodley art... can't stand doing really detailed, painstaking or realistic stuff. Watercolors are good for me, they are all flowy! I'm more of a natural at watercolors than I am at oils or acrylics and I'm naturally much more of a painter than a drawer...
